Super Easy & Healthy Overnight Oats

In Cuba, our Air B&B made us a nutritious, filling and yummy breakfast every morning consisting of tropical fruit. I don't know if it was the fruit or the sun, but when I came back from that holiday, my skin looked brighter and clearer. Since then, I've been trying to start my days off with something healthy but easy. After browsing through different recipes and looking at different Pinterest pins for inspiration, I finally came to a decision on how to make my super-easy overnight oats recipe.

Ingredients
    Overnight Oats
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (if you want it thicker, add up to 1/2 tbsp more)
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
  • Toppings
  • any fruits (you can add banana, strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, or anything!)
  • 1 tsp golden flaxseeds
  • 1 pt dark chocolate
Instructions
  1. The night before, add oats, chia seeds, milk, and vanilla extract into a jar. Mix all of the ingredients. Ensure the jar is closed properly and give it a good shake. Place in the fridge overnight.
  2. In the morning, add the maple syrup to your overnight oats and mix well. Transfer the oats onto a bowl (or you can leave it in the jar). Add your choice of toppings (and snap to your friends). Enjoy!
